SUMMARY
Responsible for the care, maintenance and efficient operation of facilities and equipment while supervising a small staff. Has extensive knowledge of facilities management functions, electrical engineering, HVAC maintenance, electro/mechanical maintenance and repair, and vehicle maintenance and repair.
RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
- Directs and approves all requisitions for maintenance, repair of building, equipment, machine parts, and manufacturing supplies.
- Recommends and/or makes improvements in machinery and equipment to support manufacturing methods.
- Is responsible for current equipment records and the physical inventory, storage, and distribution of all facilities equipment.
- Inspects and performs minor general equipment and facilities maintenance.
- Supervises the performance of staff, workers and janitors.
- Maintains responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the facility and the transportation fleet.
- Maintains up to date Project Status and Task Status; communicates the status weekly to the Company in a pre-designated format
- Responsible for obtaining Subcontractor quotes for tasks deemed to be outside of the scope of internal personnel; may manage the efforts of those Subcontractors
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Assignments are in task and objective oriented terms
- Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
- Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Functions as an advisor regarding tasks, projects and operations.
- Administers and executes policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE / REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years experience in maintenance, use, and/or inventory of facilities and equipment.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Good communications ability, both verbal and written.
- Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to interact positively with faculty and staff.
JOB TYPE: FULL TIME
COMPENSATION: $84,194 – $117,871 (Based on experience)
