Summary
The role will develop and maintain integrated master schedules for multiple multi-million-dollar Department of Defense (DoD) projects. This position leads the back-end and front-end processes for creating, managing, monitoring, and ensuring the integrity and timeliness of multiple project schedules. He/she regularly interacts with all project stakeholders including the customer regarding schedule status and metrics. The role prepares both monthly project performance reports as well as ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using MS Project.
- Develop, maintain, and status project/program integrated master schedules.
- Implement schedules on multiple Earned Value Management (EVM) programs.
- Provide critical/driving path analyses and create “what if” scenarios; provide recommendations to leadership and project owners to achieve scheduling targets.
- Participate on project teams as the scheduling subject matter expert.
- Facilitate scheduling discussions to create project schedules and determine relationships with other projects.
- Help technical experts establish milestones and provide support to monitor adherence to the master schedule by identifying programmatic problems and providing recommended solutions.
- Recommend and lead scheduling best practices and process improvements.
- Review and implement scheduling documentation, processes, and work instructions.
- Serve as a spokesperson on scheduling performance to the baseline and schedule maturity for responsible projects.
- Supports Program Management to achieve or exceed business objectives.
- Supports ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Master Scheduling, Program Scheduling, Project Controls, or similar.
- Experience in MS Project or similar tools.
- Experience implementing/maintaining schedules on multiple programs.
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) programs compliant with NDIA EIA-748D.
- Experience in Defense (DoD) or Government Contracting.
- Experience in Modernization, Construction, Design, Engineering, Facilities, or similar.
- Working knowledge of cost/schedule integration business rhythm activities including cost/schedule alignment, baseline change requests and variance analysis.
- Ability to manage schedules within Earned Value Management (EVM) programs.
- Ability to interpret program requirements via multiple sources (RFP, SOW, WBS).
- Ability to facilitate group decision-making and conflict resolution.
- Ability to engage with program teams to develop the WBS and activity dependencies that structure the IMS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written for constant and consistent interaction with all departments and employee levels including customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required; including month-end and year end hours as business demands dictate.
- Moderate Noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers, light traffic).
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation Range: $88,091 – $120,167 (Based on experience)
