FAAC Incorporated (FAAC), a division of Arotech Corporation, announces the acquisition of Battlespace Simulations (BSI). BSI specializes in multidomain combat simulations in near-peer threat environments, simulating the entire battlespace, seen and unseen. This strategic addition will augment FAAC’s market leading air warfare weapon simulation capability and significantly add to the company’s ability to provide complete battlespace solutions to the Warfighter within the DOD and our international partners.
“I am confident that BSI has found a home with FAAC that will provide exciting growth opportunities for BSI and its employees,” said Gary DeYoung, President of BSI. “I am personally excited to join FAAC’s executive team and continue leading the BSI business within a larger organization with skills and resources that I believe will take BSI’s products to new heights.”
BSI’s best-in-class core products, MACE and ARMOR, coupled with Arotech Training and Simulation Division’s existing offerings, will allow for value added offerings to current customers, expansion into new markets, and strengthening of our simulation and modeling expertise.
“We are excited to welcome BSI to the Arotech Training and Simulation Division,” said Kurt Flosky, President of FAAC and Arotech’s Training and Simulation Division. “This acquisition aligns perfectly with our strategic vision to grow our organization’s capabilities by acquiring organizations with exceptional management, synergistic products, and industry leading expertise in training and simulation. Having known Gary and BSI for years, I know we are gaining a team that shares our vision for providing world class simulation solutions to best prepare our warfighters to succeed in their missions and return home safe.”
