We use artificial-intelligence and machine-learning technologies (“AI”) in connection with the Service. This section describes how AI is used and how information is processed in that context. It supplements, and should be read together with, the rest of this Privacy Policy.

AI features. We use AI in the following ways. Product features: our products may include AI features that operate offline, within your system, without collecting, transmitting, or using any data outside your system; and AI features that operate online, which require internet connectivity and connect to a third-party AI service provider, and through which we may collect, transmit, and use data to provide the products and services you receive under your purchase agreement and warranty. Website and telephone: we use AI on our website and telephone lines to provide product information, route calls, and provide technical support, and to assist FAAC personnel. Information you provide through these channels is collected, transmitted, and used by FAAC for marketing, sales, and support purposes, and calls may be recorded or monitored and handled with AI assistance.

Information processed by AI. AI-enabled features may process the categories of information described in this Privacy Policy, including your interactions with those features. Please do not submit sensitive, confidential, or export-controlled information through AI-enabled features.

Training of AI models. We do not use or sell your information, or data collected through the Service or AI features, to train external or third-party AI systems. Our AI service providers act as service providers or processors under our instructions and are contractually obligated to maintain appropriate security measures and protect the confidentiality of your information. Unless otherwise disclosed, we instruct our AI service providers not to use customer data submitted through our services to train or improve their general AI models.

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and do not constitute professional advice; we apply human review where appropriate.

Your choices. The AI features built into our products are integral to those products and are not subject to opt-out: offline features collect no data, and use of online features requires the associated data processing. For website and telephone interactions, you may exercise the choices and rights described under “Your Rights,” including opting out of marketing communications.
