BSI enables flexible worldwide simulation and 3D visualization at a rapid pace

Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE)

Full-spectrum battlespace simulation software. Build and execute scenarios across all domains including, simulated in high detail including the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

Augmented Reality Mission Observation & Rehearsal (ARMOR)

Visualization of battlespace, real-time 3D Environment. Build ARMOR terrain anywhere worldwide, allowing you to rapidly create and visualize the 3D battlespace from any perspective.

Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE)

Full-spectrum battlespace simulation software for building and executing scenarios across multiple domains including air, land, sea, and space, simulated in high detail including the full electromagnetic spectrum.

It features:

  • A true GIS core that supports industry standard raster and vector formats to provide a worldwide battlespace.
  • Physics-based aero models for platforms and weapons, including rotary/fixed-wing aircraft.
  • All of the battlespace modelled to the pulse level – Lasers, Radars, IR, RF – all of which are affected by the environment both physical and meteorological.

Augmented Reality Mission Observation & Rehearsal (ARMOR)

Visualization of battlespace, from any perspective, in a real-time high detail 3D Environment.

ARMOR is BSI’s own worldwide-scale Unity based 3D visual system for multiple use cases and is packaged with each MACE License.

Multiple Visualisation Modes. ARMOR extends beyond the desktop computer screen to include both Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR)/Mixed Reality (MR), Screen View, or Multi-Channel Dome/Screen mode.

Interact from any perspective from first-person VR/MR (such as an aircraft cockpit or JTAC) – to mission planning on an augmented reality tabletop.

  • Collaborative table-top visualization of the battlefield allows for immersive mission planning or mission debriefing.
  • Enhanced data vizualisation using varying informational dense content such as: Platform labels, platform trails, threat domes, radar beams, radio transmissions, jamming, radar cross sections, IR signatures, and radar/ EOIR receiver properties, 3D visualization of route planning, weapon engagement zones and air platform control zones.

FAAC Training Customer-for-Life

FAAC was founded in 1971 specifically to create military weapons simulations. These military simulation training technologies have become the standard for real-time military weapons training and assessment. FAAC advancements including the leap to high-fidelity simulation (leaving behind low-fidelity coefficient-driven algorithms) and head tracking technology (providing a superior simulation of depth perception) help trainees learn critical skills safely and affordably.

FAAC embraces a “Customer for Life” philosophy. We invest time in understanding your assets and objectives, work closely with your team to develop and deliver the appropriate simulation solution, and help you find the best way to integrate this custom solution into your training procedures. Most importantly, we support you in maintaining and evolving this solution as your policies, assets, and challenges inevitably change over time.

We don’t sell equipment; we partner with agencies and their instructors to develop their ideal tools for Air Force pilot training. Using simulated fighter aircraft interiors, the flying experience obtained within the simulation can translate into real-life skills used on the job. Whether your pilots are preparing for “dogfighting” air-to-air combat scenarios, air-to-surface missile usage, or any other skill set, FAAC can provide high-fidelity simulated training missions that will have a real impact on pilot performance.
