PRODUCTION SPECIALIST/HARDWARE TECHNICIAN
The Production Specialist/Hardware Technician is a key member of a team that supports simulator production assembly. The Production Specialist/Hardware Tech has a dynamic role which applies knowledge of mechanical assembly, electronics, computer networks and computer systems to assemble our products. Other roles of the Production Specialist/Hardware Tech include, but are not limited to, simulator installation support and simulator service support.

Candidate should be ready to “hit the ground running” in this fast-paced work environment. Repetitive, routine work is not our normal method of operation. Each project presents new challenges and obstacle – tailor made for the person who wants to stay sharp and avoid boredom.

Soft Skills:
• Must be a US citizen
• BA/BS (4-year degree) in computer science, mathematics or equivalent from an accredited college or university is desirable but not required
• Significant experience with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Office products
• Significant experience with off-the-shelf PC hardware including motherboards, graphics cards, memory and hard drives, optical drives, power supplies, etc.
• Knowledge of basic networking and LAN technologies
• Experience working for or servicing any federal, state or local municipality
• Hands-on technical skills with ability to quickly learn, work with and recommend improvements to company products
• Ability to apply common sense to situations which lack defined policies or decisions
• Works well in small teams and alone with minimal direction
• Ability to perform work in a safe, productive and timely manner

• Must have experience with operating various pneumatic and electric tools

• Must have basic electricity knowledge

SIMULATOR HARDWARE TECHNICIAN - GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Job description: The Hardware Technician performs simulator production assembly, field installation, trade show set-up and other general duties. Production environment is best described as boutique-producing high-end, low volume systems.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen
- High school graduate or equivalent
- ‘can-do’ attitude
- Willingness to travel up to 25% per month
- Must be able to obtain a US Passport

- Audio Visual and/or Structured Cabling Systems
- Computer rack integration experience
- Chauffeur’s license or CDL with air brake endorsement

SIMULATOR ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
Job Description: Design, develop, test, manufacture and repair electrical and electronic equipment for training simulators.

Responsibilities:
- Meeting department behavior and performance expectations

- Abiding company policies and procedures
- Document test procedures, produce reports, document work through use of spreadsheet and CAD software

Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 75% of coursework completed in a related field of study
- 2+ years professional experience as an Electronics Technician

Technical Skills:
- Bench repair, precise soldering, pinning, wiring harness fabrication, field repair
- Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components such as PCB’s, PLC’s and board-level components
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Customer service
- Produce documentation with MS Office products – Excel, Visio, Word

IG SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Cross-platform software development in Windows and Linux (C++)
- Software development relating to driving simulator’s image generators
- Image generator configuration and support
- Support and upgrade existing OpenSceneGraph based applications (C++)
- Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI) software support and updates
- Software development of configuration and testing tools for image generators

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or technical field (Computer Science, preferred)
- Knowledgeable in 3D rendering algorithms (linear algebra and strong 3D math skills)
- C++ Object-oriented programming
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Experience:
- Windows/Linux/Unix programming
- OpenSceneGraph or OpenGL and/or Direct3D programming
- Network programming
- Software development using Visual Studio
- Shading languages: GLSL, HLSL or cg
- Game development experience, a plus
- Scripting languages: Lua, JavaScript
- Python or Perl programming
- Shell scripting
- Knowledge of 3D modeling programs and exporting content (Creator, 3DS Max, Maya)
- Familiarity with source control management software (Perforce, svn)
