AWS SENIOR ENGINEER

Typical Responsibilities:

  • - Analyze system characteristics to design and implement real-time computer models of aircraft systems and airborne devices
  • - Develop system architecture and software to support embedded simulations
  • - Perform verification and validation of simulations
  • - Troubleshoot reported issues

Minimum Requirements:

  • - MUST be a US citizen and must not hold dual citizenship with any other country, in order to obtain US Government Security Clearance,

SIMULATION SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • - Design, document and development for a variety of software
  • - Specify, design and develop applications and libraries for hardware interface, simulation and data analysis products
  • - Maintain, refactor and extend existing mature code base while minimizing disruption to existing installed customer base
  • - Create and maintain documentation of applications and programming libraries
  • - Work directly with customers and clients to gather and refine software requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • - Must be a US Citizen or US Green Card holder (those requiring work visas are not eligible)
  • - Candidates must have at least a Bachelorís degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
  • - Must have at least 5 years of experience in C++ development using a combination of Microsoft Visual Studio (2010 or more recent) and GCC (4.x or more recent)
  • - Must be proficient in setting up processes that aim for reproducibility
  • - Have experience in branching, tagging and releases in a configuration-controlled environment
  • - Must have experience in complex, large infrastructure systems
  • - Must have experience integrating with hardware
  • - Must have familiarity with basic 3D engine concepts
  • - Must have experience with revision control/content management systems
  • - Must be conversant in modern software development skills and terminology
  • - Strong oral and written communication skills, required
  • - Ability to establish long-term relationships with co-workers and customers

Desired Qualifications:

  • - Experience with real-time programming, is desired
  • - Familiarity with driving simulators, desired
  • - Familiarity with scripting languages (especially Python and JavaScript) desired
  • - Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent software, is desired
  • - Familiarity with JIRA, a plus

VEHICLE SIMULATION SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST/SOFTWARE LIBRARIAN

  • - Responsible for implementing configuration management strategy used to establish product baselines
  • - Work with sales/marketing, engineering and management to determine product baselines
  • - Responsible for tracking custom content for each customer
  • - Responsible for creating, maintaining and using product installation scripts
  • - Participates in software integration and testing

Minimum Requirements:
