RTI Showcases Comprehensive Driving Simulators
Realtime Technologies (RTI) builds driving simulators for research, training, and automotive product development programs, specializing in human factors research (including research incorporating vehicle dynamics). Our modular, scalable designs allow you to add components to your existing simulator, avoiding the need to replace your entire system as your fidelity needs increase or research changes course.
At this year’s AutoSens and InCabin trade show, we will be showcasing several products. First and foremost is SimCreator 4, RTIs latest software solution for real-time driver experience simulation.
With SimCreator 4, you can quickly build new projects using the included drag-and-drop scenario authoring and development tool, SimCreator DX. SimCreator arrives with a comprehensive library of baseline maneuvers, vehicle dynamics models, scenes, driving environments, and hundreds of vehicles, animals, pedestrians, buildings, and other static objects. But it’s by no means limited to these libraries; the SimCreator software supports programmable maneuver generation for custom maneuvers, in addition to the Baseline Maneuver library.
SimCreator harnesses the power of Fusion 2 dynamic graphic generation, with support for OpenFlight and FBX models. The included Safety City offers a comprehensive range of driving environments, and is compatible with RoadRunner road network modeling for custom driving environments.
RTI will also showcase optional plug-in modules for SimCreator, like SimObserver Pro (audio/video/data capture with synchronization and after-action review), and autonomous vehicle research solutions like SimADAS (modeling SAE Levels 1 and 2 driver assist systems) and SimDriver, which models SAE Levels 3 and 4 autonomous vehicles and transfer-of-control.
