TASS Airworthiness Update

US Army Aviation Program Management Offices have instituted updates to the Air Worthiness Releases for Apache, Blackhawk and Chinook Helicopter’s authorizing installation and operation of Inter-Coastal Electronics’ Training Aviation Stimulation System (TASS) to be flown outside of the traditional Combat Training Center (CTC) Networked Environments.

TASS supports training Air Crew Survivability Tasks for Individual, Crew and Collective Training “Anytime and Anywhere” without the need of actual ASE B Kit hardware installed on the Aircraft allowing crews to get the reps and sets necessary to build confidence, proficiency, muscle memory and develop survivable instincts against virtual Threat Integrated Air Defense System arrays while training at home station.
