Warranty

Inter-Coastal Electronics, LLC, hereinafter referred to as ICE, warrants that the hardware products supplied (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery (the “Warranty Period”).

WARRANTY COVERAGE

During the Warranty Period, ICE will at its discretion, either:

1. Repair the defective Product free of charge
2. Replace the defective Product with a new product

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

1. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, or external forces
2. Defects caused by normal wear and tear
3. Unauthorized modifications or repairs
4. Damage caused by operating the Product outside its intended use or specifications

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To make a warranty claim, the customer must contact ICE within the Warranty Period and provide:

1. A description of the issue or defect
2. The Product serial number and any other identifying information

ICE will provide instructions for returning the Product for repair or replacement. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the Product to ICE. ICE will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced Product back to the customer.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS

If upon inspection, ICE determines that the Product’s issue is not covered under this Limited Warranty, the following will apply:

1. Repair Proposal: ICE will provide the customer with a detailed repair proposal outlining the cost and estimated time required to repair the Product.
2. Customer Approval: Repairs will only be carried out upon the customer’s written approval of the repair proposal.

Return Shipping: If the customer declines the repair proposal, the customer will be responsible for all costs associated with returning the Product. If the customer opts to abandon the Product, ICE reserves the right to dispose of it after providing written notice to the customer.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

ICE shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or relating to the use or inability to use the Product, even if ICE has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall ICE’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the customer for the Product.

GOVERNING LAW

This Limited Warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Limited Warranty shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
