At MILO, as with all great organizations, we believe that strong leadership isn’t just about guiding an organization forward; it’s also about recognizing and nurturing talent and creating space for others to lead.
After 28 years at MILO, Robert McCue will retire from his role as Executive Director to make way for new leadership and continued growth. Rob will remain on staff through April to support a smooth transition and will launch an SDVOSB operating in the value-added reseller market.
Rob’s business leadership has been shaped by his time as a young NCO in the Army’s elite 1st Ranger Battalion, where accountability, humility, candor, and commitment are core values, and developing others to lead is essential to mission success. Those principles helped shape MILO’s culture and prepare the organization for its next chapter.
“Leadership isn’t about holding onto authority; it’s about training and preparing others to lead. Creating space for new voices, ideas, and growth is part of doing what’s best for the mission and the team.” — Robert McCue
As part of this transition:
John Jones will move into the role of Executive Director of Operations.
Jason LaMons will move into the role of Executive Director of Business Development.
Jason Lantis will move into the role of Director of Operations and Support.
With a strong leadership team in place, MILO remains focused on its mission and future growth. We’re grateful for Rob’s leadership and service, and we look forward to what’s ahead.
