Gate Barrier Engagement Training Solutions

MILO Range simulators are designed to help military units like Air Force Security Forces and Army Military Police defending installation perimeters practice muscle memory for gate barrier activation without having to shut down traffic to train at the gate. By providing airmen and security guard personnel a flexible, scalable, and immersive environment for trainees to practice engaging potential base intruders at the entry control point, instructors can create tailored lessons to ensure people new to the unit are able to train to standard with the equipment necessary to prevent a breech.

Developed in collaboration with US Air Force Air Education and Training Command units, the gate barrier engagement feature includes full representational fidelity and simulates real-time barrier deployment upon activation. Trainees have the ability to train by flipping the safety cap and activating the Emergency Fast Operation (EFO) while a vehicle speeds past the main gate, helping achieve the muscle memory required to perform the critical anti-terrorism task of entry control.
