CEDAR PARK —Cedar Park police officer Robert Ducroz stood in a dark hallway Tuesday pointing a laser gun and yelling commands at a screen that showed people running away from a hidden gunman. The gunman suddenly appeared on the screen, firing at Ducroz, but the officer shot him first with the laser.
