Accelerated Experience: So Slowing Down is an Option | Michael Warren
Based on my training and experience–often used in LE, is best left to those with both a lot of training and experience. We don’t always have the option of giving people calls that they have a lot of training and experience in. Proper use of simulators accelerates training & experience. Studies show the use of simulators is highly effective in improving performance in complex and constantly evolving events. Simulators are immersive and experiential and serve as a training gap identifier. Used properly, trainers not only positively impact performance, but also in the articulation of the events.
Enhancing Firearms Training with MILO: From Range to Reality | Scott Willadsen
This course provides instructors with an overview of the research and methodology behind using a video simulator for firearms training. It highlights the importance of scenario-based qualifications to address limitations in standard range practices.
